Thu, 2010-09-23 23:31 — Thuch KSAA as a group, organisation and culture have values that are largely shared by most members if not all of them. These values constitute their members behaviours, conditions and characteristics and are consider very important. Being part of any culture that shares a common core set of values creates a systematic framework to be follow by members and we should respect and maintain KSAA values. In this sense KSAA as a group/association have values that guide them in carrying out themselves in writing from and other things. To name few, KSAA members value giving back little the have in form of donation to help and improve prosperity of our community and members. We value education for our members and community at large through sharing of ideas and conducting various activities and so on, but with only one exception. We are not a political organisation or representing Kongor people in all level. We do not involve our self in South Sudan struggle and Kongor struggle. But we encourage our members in participating in South Sudan and Kongor freedom as long it’s outside of KSAA ground and affairs, which is very clear and acceptable by majority. Therefore, I condemned the decision/action undertaken in posting the article “Kongor Identity in Crisis and It can only be revived by telling true, too much lies have taken Kongor identity to it lowest pro” written by Mr Deng, In addition to all political response/message posted by all individual as they violates our values which we stand for and believe as good. Those articles were interesting to read; the facts and opinion in the writing would be beyond many people believed. Though, the whole report might have many loop holes in it and many questions could be asked and addressing with evidences not as a say, otherwise it is insignificant and convey no message to the public. This was a wrong moved to published these controversial ideas in the KSAA website as you truly know and aware of the principles and values that guide us. Also, those individual (Manyuon) who share the discussion with author are too condemned for their misconduct. A reasonable path way to go first was to advocate for political discussion on the KSAA site like many have done it in the past with the campaign of “Money is Evil” or “Debtor’s record should publish on KSAA website”. These were logical and constructive arguments in relation to issues affecting the organisation and to some extent I agree with them. I do believe KSAA is a multi-million association and have a potential to generate million of funds from ideas or even achieve success without a dollar. Instantly, I am not objecting communicating your message to Kongor people but I am disappointed by your decision that you chose to go on the KSAA site. I have no intention and would never request an apology from you but telling a member/non-member their dark side of their story is something I value and can change individual. There are so many places you/anyone could have published your/their article and make it available to Kongorian. Thank Mr Ajak has taken an initiative of launching a monthly newspaper, which I believe is open to all issues from God to culture. Presumably, a monthly theme matching the political discussion and inter-related issues would highly welcome a political view and unity of our community. My other suggestion is that we could form an electronic group where any Kongorian, who is interested in discussing critical or hidden secrets of our generation, might join in. My argument in objecting to this political agenda on KSAA website is that we have experience many circumstances in the past. Someone individuals chose to decide what so ever to write about on our space and this tend to be very offensive to other members, resulting in general assembly calling out National Committee to issued an apology or forced each individual to apologies to an offended member. Therefore, each KSAA member, non-member and our respected guest must follows principles and values KSAA stand for. Over time, they become the roots of KSAA traditions that our members find important in their day to day lives and guide us to a successful KSAA society. Thus, I request the Website Committee to delete the discussions relating to political issues to maintain the image of the association. Thuch Bior
